TD Business Ventures Inc. is the parent company to TD Bobcat Services. We have been serving Sylvan Lake and area since 1999. Our company deals in property asset management, specifically your property assets. We focus on all your property maintenance needs. As a locally owned and operated company, we offer a “hands on” approach to maintaining your property.
Doug &Teresa Borrowman and their children Cheyanna and Dustin have lived in Sylvan Lake since 1994. Through their business, family and personal commitments, Teresa and Doug are proud to be well entrenched in the Sylvan Lake community and look forward to many years of service to the community. In 2011, our company received the Corporate Volunteer of the Year award for our involvement in the local senior’s assistance program. This program offers help to seniors that live in their own homes and are in need of assistance with their yard care. For these people we provide free of charge lawn care and snow removal services.
As a company, our goal is to be the best service provider possible while being environmentally responsible and in doing so, set the standard for all others to follow. To help accomplish this goal, we are members of several organizations where we can draw the latest and best practices for the services we provide. One of the organizations that we are proud of being a part of is SIMA (Snow & Ice Management Association). Upon becoming a member of this association in 2008, we became 1 of only 4 other businesses in Alberta to be a member. This North American organization offers the ONLY accreditation program for employees to be properly trained in all aspects of snow clearing techniques, thus ensuring you, the customer that your property is being looked after by true PROFESSIONALS. Starting in the fall of 2014 we are introducing our liquid anti-icing and de-icing product called Beet55. This product offers our customers and equally important, the environment an alternative to the traditional methods of preventing and removal of ice and snow. Beet55 is a sugar beet based de-icing product that is chloride-free and improves and accelerates the action of the other melting agents such as road salt, salt brine, etc. Beet55 is brown in color with a slight sweet odor and is environmentally friendly, all natural and renewable resource that is derived from sugar beets during the sugar making process. Beet55 is effective to minus 30 degrees C. Traditional salting procedures are effective only down to minus 12 degrees C.
